Citypages

This was a mock illustration project I worked on for a class. We met with the head art director of our local CityPages during class when we were first given the assignment. The cover story illustration is suppose to capture the mood & tone of their “Best Late Night Clubs & Dinning” issue.

All of the materials were either drawn in pencil or photographed & vectorized before being pieced together in both Photoshop & Illustrator. The client had very strict ideas ideas about the visual tone & style he wanted to have portrayed on the cover, opting for a more flat, computer driven aesthetic as opposed to a textured multimedia piece. The illustration received positive reviews from my class & instructors when all was said & done.
